What is BWRT?

BWRT®, BrainWorking Recursive Therapy, is an immensely powerful style of working that candissolve problems almost instantaneously.
There is no other therapy in the world that is the same as BWRT®. Certified BWRT® Practitioners receive thorough training in this totally modern methodology and are completely conversant with the techniques needed to work effectively with a great number of human problems and difficulties.

What happens in a session

During a session of BWRT®, the practitioner will ask you a few questions about your background and what has brought you to see them – but they will not ask you to reveal any secrets or intimate details of your life. This is a totally private therapy in which you only have to be able to tell the practitioner how you feel and how you would like to feel instead. For instance, you might say something like: “Social situations scare me half to death!” and the practitioner would then ask if you can think how you would like to feel instead. If you can, they will get straight to work; if you can’t, they will help you decide – and again you will never have to reveal any details you really don’t want to.

It really is that simple and that private!

BWRT® doesn’t use hypnosis or anything that might be considered to be mystical or unscientific – it is a science-based, totally grounded methodology that deals with uncomfortable emotional or psychological triggers before you are even aware of them. Most other therapies work on the response after it has been generated, requiring you to tell the practitioner what you’re thinking about – but with BWRT® the problem is dealt with ‘at source’, before it even gets to the conscious mind.

How it works

The practitioner will explain fully how the process works and although, as in all work of this sort, you have a vital part to play in the process, it is a very easy part – in fact you will have to do very little more than keep focused on how you want to be when the work is complete… and that could be the same day you started!

All BrainWorking Recursive Therapy® professional therapists have been properly trained in this specific therapy and hold certification to show this. If a therapist does not hold such certification, they may have not been officially trained by the Institute of BrainWorking Recursive Therapy and may not be genuine BWRT Professionals.

  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Fears and Phobias
  • Social Phobia

Will I have to relive my fears?

No – BWRT isn’t used like that. In fact, the practitioner doesn’t even have to know what your exact fear is. You might only say something like:
“I have these panic attacks…”
and that’s all the
practitioner needs to know.

Do you have to be really ill before this therapy works?

Not at all! BWRT can help all manner of uncomfortable situat
ions and conditions. The best thing is to talk to Jennifer Battaglino, who will be happy to discuss your needs in detail.

Are there any unpleasant side effects?

There are no lasting side effects. Some people feel slightly ‘disconnected’ for a few seconds -no longer – as the brain lets go of the problem at the end of the session.

How many sessions will I need?

One of the great things about BWRT is its speed. Often, a single session is sufficient to resolve your problems. It’s rare for there to be a need for more than 4-5 sessions.

Does it last?

Yes! When your problem is resolved with BWRT it stays resolved.

Can it work for performance enhancement?

It certainly can. Whether it’s for athletics, business, relationships, sex, driving, exams or
anything else where you need to give your best, BWRT can be e
ffectively employed.

Are all practitioners properly trained?

Everybody listed on the site has been fully trained and attends a Continual Professional Development programme. In addition, Jennifer
is an advanced practitioner as well as a mentor/supervisor. As a qualified BWRT mentor, she supervises those who are training and become certified in BWRT.

Can it work for things like alcoholism and anorexia?

It can, but those are complex issues and it’s impossible to state definitely that it will work every time. A practitioner will be able to tell you more on an initial consultation.

What happens in a session?

After getting some details from you, the practitioner will explain how BWRT works and then it’s on into the therapy itself. This stops the troubling response in its tracks so that the brain then waits for better information – that will come from your own mind based on what you want, rather than as in most therapies where it’s often based on what the therapist thinks you should have.
This is why BWRT is so effective. We use your own brain processes to create the processes you want instead of you having to put up with the ones that are gi
ving you problems.

But how do you do that?

We start by ‘freezing’ the troubling thoughts then we employ a technique called ‘RecursiveLooping’ to condition the way the brain responds to triggers. BWRT is the only therapy (as at July 2016) to work in this manner, making it one of the fastest and most effective therapies around.
